Clinic's fifth album, Do It!, upholds the band's revered reputation with edgy verve. While Ade Blackburn's reedy voice and moody keyboard lines give the group some lift, the rest of Clinic grounds the proceedings in jagged guitars and tight rhythms. DON'T YOU RAISE YOUR VOICE TO US, CLINIC! Actually, it's hard to imagine these dudes raising their voices through those damn surgical masks. That's probably why there's only one exclamation point, as opposed to Nick Cave's far more emphatic three.
