POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR is the newest release from world dominating, multi-award nominated Bring Me The Horizon. Continuing to push their creative boundaries, even during the 2020 global pandemic and lockdowns, the band have created a body of work that is arguably one of their most exciting, diverse, intricate pieces of music to date.

Belfast-born, London-based duo Bicep (Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson) release their hotly anticipated second album, 'Isles', on 22 January 2021 via Ninja Tune. Two years in the making, 'Isles' expands on the artful energy of their 2018 debut 'Bicep', while digging deeper into the sounds, experiences and emotions that have influenced their lives and work, from early days in Belfast to their move to London a decade ago. 'We have strong mixed emotions, connected to growing up on an island' they say, 'wanting to leave, wanting to return'. 'Isles' is, in part, a meditation on these contradictions, the struggle between the expansive and the introspective, isolation and euphoria. Lead single 'Apricots' has a similar feel, steeped in a shimmering bath of warm synths, its spare percussion and arresting vocals bring the big room chills of 90s rave, while still evoking something lost or forlorn.

The Glitz; The Glamour' is a 35-year retrospective of Perry Farrell's life, music and art that looks into his world outside the works of Jane's Addiction and Porno For Pyros, to focus on 68 tracks worth of Perry's Alt-Rock rarities and heart-pounding artistic explorations.

This Boxset firmly puts Perry's stake in the ground as the "Godfather of Alternative Rock" and includes several first-ever offerings including the self-titled post punk EP, PSI COM on 180 gram half-speed vinyl. Styles We Paid For is Guided by Voices' third album of 2020 and it stands as a testament to this Year In Isolation, reflecting these dark days through Robert Pollard's prism, with the band sounding as confident and authoritative as ever. The fifteen tracks were recorded remotely during quarantine from five states (Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Tennessee) to comprise GBV's ninth album since 2017.Pollard's searing vocals hold center stage, with endless melodic invention and impeccable phrasing. The massively crescendo-ing opening track "Megaphone Riley" seems to be inspired by a diabolical politician-in-chief, and like an indie-rock Nostradamus, presciently highlights the "Jumbo Virus", while in the final couplet of the album closer "When Growing Was Simple" Pollard urges "Don't drink and drive / stay at home and eat". Other album highlights include include Big Rock standouts like the incredibly hooky "Mr. Child" with the band in full arena rock power swing, while the titular protagonist is mentioned by name no less than sixteen times; the touching beauty and lyrical relevance of "Stops" and the majestically elegant "In Calculus Stratagem", a bubbly pop rock joyride in "Crash at Lake Placebo"; the subtle current-day technological observations of "They Don't Play The Drums Anymore" and the sleek "Electronic Windows To Nowhere" (written by a man who owns neither a smart phone or a computer). It's notably heavy in it's worldliness, lyrical content, texture, and approach-and rides out like a cinematic journey of the bizarro world one find oneself in.While other bands have been napping, GBV have achieved their second consecutive hat-trick (three albums per annum), and have further cemented their status as rock legends for achieving more in this bleak year then most bands do across their entire careers.

'Film Music 1976 - 2020' - This long-awaited album brings together 17 tracks from Eno's most recognisable film and television work spanning 5 decades. Eno's music has been used in hundreds of films and he has composed more than 20 soundtracks for some of the best known directors in the world including David Lynch, Danny Boyle, Peter Jackson, Michelangelo Antonioni, Derek Jarman and Michael Mann. Compositions such as "Ship in a Bottle" in "The Lovely Bones", "Prophecy Theme" from "Dune", "Deep Blue Day" in "Trainspotting", "Late Evening in Jersey" in "Heat", "Beach Sequence" in Antonioni's last film "Beyond The Clouds" and "An Ending (Ascent)" from Al Reinert's ground-breaking "For All Mankind" have contributed significantly to memorably iconic scenes. Eno has also scored extensively for television, including all 3 series of the gritty UK crime drama, "Top Boy" for which he received a Bafta, and Danny Boyle's "Mr Wroe's Virgins" which earned him and his brother Roger a Bafta nomination. This release features over an hour of classic Eno compositions and includes several previously unreleased tracks.

Kiwi Jr. is a phenomenal “rock” and/or “punk” and/or “indie-rock” (whichever you like more) band from Canada, made up of Jeremy Gaudet (mic, guitar), Brohan Moore (drums), Mike Walker (bass), and Brian Murphy (guitar). Cooler Returns is their second album, and their first for Sub Pop. Despite being a snapshot of the pandemic-infused beginnings of this decade, Cooler Returns is truly a whole lot of fun. RIYL indie-pop from down under, things that are smart/exuberant/catchy all at once. Not so long since their debut Football Money in archaeological time, unending gray eons later in the dog years of quaran-time, spiritually antipodean Canadians Kiwi Jr return to disseminate this year's annual report to the shareholders, burying the incriminating numbers in the endless appendices of a longform narrative record, a 3,000 word tract for stakeholders to pore over. These stories - memories of Augusts past, unrepressed & transcribed fast - go down easier thanks to meaningful changes enacted in 2019’s KiwiCares Pledge: delivering on a promise to transition from Crunchy to Smooth by 2021, the caveman chug of Football Money has been steamed & pressed with the purifying air of a saloon piano - operated with bow-tie untied - and a spring green side-salad of tentatively up-tempo organ taps & freshly fluted harmonica. A chronically detuned spin of the dial through swivel-chair distractions & WFH daydreams, an immersive ctrl-tab deluge cycling through popular listicle distractions like the unentombing of Richard III, or the deja vu destruction of the Glasgow School of Art, Kiwi Jr. sing this song to an indoor audience, crisscrossing canceled, every other prestige distraction source wrung dry, only songwriting remaining to deliver engrossing tales to the populace, just how I imagine it worked in the old days. Fixing loose ingredients into a sturdy whip, Kiwi Jr. beam in live from the 9-5, striding into 2021 with a mastered brainwave that comes equally from the back room of the record store as the penalty box. And how do we, left holding this box of deliberate entanglements, sign off to those as yet uninitiated, undecided, uncertain, unseen, absent return coordinates - Best Wishes, Warm Regards, Good Luck? Cooler Returns was produced by Kiwi Jr., mixed and engineered by Graham Walsh (METZ, Bully) in Toronto, and mastered by Phillip Shaw Bova at Bova Labs in Ottawa, Ontario.

Written throughout 2019 and early 2020, recorded at Milosh’s home studio, United Recording Studios and Revival at The Complex, and mixed by Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, Interpol, My Bloody Valentine). Home is familiar in its synthesis of propulsive beats, orchestral flourishes, piano ruminations and sultry, gender-nonconforming vocals, but never have they sounded more cohesive or alive. Home is bookended by celestial cantos sung by the Danish National Girls’ Choir, who Rhye performed with at a landmark concert in Denmark in 2017.

Limited colored 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Critically acclaimed Nashville-based alt-rock band Moon Taxi returns with their sixth full-length album, Silver Dream. Moon Taxi set the stage for Silver Dream with the radio hit "Hometown Heroes" which was heralded by Uproxx as "an alt-rock track that sounds like it was made for the radio." On fellow single "One Step Away," dusty guitar rings out over a steady beat and luminous keys as a chantable chorus sails over an unshakable groove. "One Step Away" arrived on the heels of the inspiring track "Light Up" which Alternative Press called "the uplifting track everyone needs to hear right now."

Full of hope for the future, it's a great mix of boogie, blues, rock, Americana and folk - all delivered in Steve's unique style. It's a sizzler of an album that he can't wait to release. "In these crazy times seems to me there just ain't enough love and peace to go around," says Steve. "I ain't exactly sure what this here record got to do with love and peace, but I figured I'd call it that anyways!"

Under A Mediterranean Sky is the first new acoustic solo album from legendary guitarist Steve Hackett, since 2008's 'Tribute' - a record that saw him tackling some of the beautiful classical pieces that his guitar idols had also put their hand to. This new album however takes inspiration from Steve's extensive travels around the Mediterranean. "A lot of acoustic ideas had been forming over the years, and it felt like the perfect time to create this album," notes Hackett, "a time to contemplate the places we've visited around the Mediterranean with the kind of music which evolved from the world of imagination." 'Under The Mediterranean Sky' lacks nothing of the grandiosity of Steve Hackett's recent solo electric records, however it does give room to the stunning breadth of approach that he has to playing his acoustic guitar, reminding us once again why Steve is such a revered and respected musician.

Cub Scout Bowling Pins is a new secret identity of indie rock super-heroes GUIDED BY VOICES, turning up the craziness knob by 10%.   On January 6, Rolling Stone will be announcing and premiering the track "Heaven Beats Iowa", an insanely catchy power-pop song, distinctly different from GBV with a farfisa organ chug, by jingo!

L.I.T.A.N.I.E.S is a project featuring the lyrics of Australian polymath Nick Cave matched with the music of Belgian composer Nicholas Lens. Having collaborated on 2014's Shell Shock in 2014, they joined forces again during the lockdown to create this new work. Inner peace and stillness were the initial inspiration for the minimalistic, at times trance-like music, featuring Lens's daughter Clara-Lane on vocals. There is a clear purpose about the finished opera, a work of gentle beauty.

Demon Records presents Distortion: 1996-2007, the second in a series of four expansive vinyl box sets chronicling the solo career of legendary American musician Bob Mould. Bob Mould's career began in 1979 with the iconic underground punk group Hüsker Dü before forming the beloved alternative rock band Sugar and releasing numerous critically acclaimed solo albums. Volume two in this new series covers 1996 to 2007, beginning with the 1996 self-titled solo album and continuing through to Mould's 2006 collaboration with Rich Morel BLOWOFF. 6 studio albums across 8LPs, including Bob Mould, The Last Dog And Pony Show, modulate. (first time on vinyl), Long Playing Grooves. (first time on vinyl), Body Of Song, and BLOWOFF (first time on vinyl). Each album is presented with brand new artwork designed by illustrator Simon Marchner and pressed on 140g clear vinyl with unique splatter effects. Written as an intense version of therapy after Dikembe guitarist/vocalist Steven Gray's mother passed away, and with the most exhaustive and extensive recording process since their inception, Dikembe's new album Muck digs deep into the "sticky feelings" surrounding mental illness, depression and anxiety. Facing fear and an absence of hope, Muck accepts the harsh realities of life, and deals with the choices we have to make when faced with difficult decisions: "Why swim when you can sink?"

The Years: A MusicFest Tribute to Cody Canada and the Music of Cross Canadian Ragweed was recorded live on January 7 & 8, 2020, at The 35th Annual MusicFest in Steamboat Springs, CO. Featuring artists such as Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Reckless Kelly, Parker McCollum, Casey Donahew and more, the tribute record encompasses full-band and intimate acoustic performances; all recorded live. Each artist delivers their own unique and heartfelt interpretation of a song from Cody Canada's catalog.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2020 remix. Horsecore: An Unrelated Story That's Time Consuming is the classic underground debut album by the Houston, Texas based death/thrash metal band, Dead Horse.

Lord Of The Lost started as an offhand idea by frontman and band founder Chris Harms and then developed into a full band. Their debut album, Fears laid the headstone for a unique work of art. The melancholic atmosphere of the album is combined with heavy guitar riffs and singalong hooks that match the character of this unusual band perfectly. For its 10th anniversary, Fears has been remastered with 6 additional tracks.

Destiny Street was the follow-up album to one of the greatest punk albums of all time, 1977's Blank Generation. The album was originally recorded in 1981 and released in 1982, but not to Richard Hell's satisfaction. As he says in his new liner notes to Destiny Street Remixed, "The final mix was a morass of trebly multi-guitar blare." Now, for the 40th anniversary of it's creation, the album is at last presented improved the way Richard Hell has long hoped and intended: "The sound of a little combo playing real gone rock and roll."

The Lumineers co-founder, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jeremiah Fraites' solo debut album Piano Piano will release on January 22nd through Dualtone Records. A collection of songs that's been in the works for the better part of a decade, Piano Piano features gorgeous, intimate piano-centric instrumental songs capturing Fraites' reflective moments from his Denver home.
